Kannagi – 2 and 3 are OUT!!!

Yep. You guessed it, we will continue fansubbing Kannagi – Crazy Shrine Maidens and if the God of Fortune is with us, we might finish this series without conflict. We apologize for the late release of these episodes and I hope we’ll be faster next time.

This is a joint effort between SHiN-gx and Genjo-Subs, by the way and without the full support from Genjo-Subs, this project wouldn’t be possible. The two groups worked really hard on this show and I hope you guys like the output of our work.

Candy Boy 3 – Crossing Barriers is finally OUT!!!

Wow, for a 12 minute show, it really packs a lot of lines. Sorry for the very long delay, folks. Lots of stuff to do here and there like for example, slacking off and obsessing over a delicious purple twin-tailed tsundere sex goddess. *bonks head* Gotta finish the new MegaPack soon. A very Special Thanks to Genjo-Subs for helping us with Candy Boy. Please also thank them by paying them a visit and check out their projects.

Kana, Yuki and Saku went to Hokkaido and will spend the holidays there. Little does Miss Stalker know that a new kind of terror is waiting for her in the snow-filled remote town. Sakuya is going to fight for her life  with uneven odds in this new episode, folks. What awaits her is so ruthless, it easily broke the  once unbreakable bonds between Sakuya and her eternal love, Kanade.  This is, without a doubt, the most powerful episode of Candy Boy. It’s packed with action, angst, drama, love and romance – indeed, Candy Boy 3 is at it’s pinnacle of story writing!

*ahem*

Yeah, it’s another cute episode. =P

The video resolution is still the same, it’s not upscaled and the raw was taken directly from Nico Nico and spiced it up a bit. This episode contains 2 subtitle tracks. Sub track #1 uses our default Candy Boy font and Sub track #2 uses a different font. So it’s two same scripts with different fonts. Why we made two scripts? An anonymous requested to change the fonts because he has trouble reading them. We can’t change the font because we used it on many episodes already so putting in a second script with a different  font is the best solution.

On an unrelated note, we’re still doing Shoujo Sect ~Innocent Lovers~. Our TL, gx9901 is MIA so I can’t get a hold of his draft script. So yeah, episode 2 is delayed, again. I really don’t know where or what our TL is doing and this was his last statement to me before he went missing:

Translation goes to Tree-Subs and SHiN-gx, that’s us, did the rest. =) Unfortunately, this is the first and last of the release. Tree-Subs cannot translate episode 2 and they only translated episode 1 because they said it was doable. It’s more like a test sub… or something… EDITED

Oh and pardon for the inaccuracy of the subtitles. The puns may be out of place and we made up some lines and stuff. Not one of the TLs are good (see credits) and our (SHiN-gx’s) TL is Missing in Action and he hasn’t contacted us for days now. Hmm… It must be… *ahem*

Now, sorry for the very late release of the first video. This was supposed to be released last December 2007 because due to some issues like we’re new to the fansubbing scene and hard to acquire an HQ RAW at that time.

What’s up with this video? It’s fully softsubbed as always, encoded in h.264 video and AAC for the audio and we removed the Japanese text this time around. Why we removed it? Well, some of you guys don’t have ro not planning to put Japanese text support in their machine and too many other reasons better left unexplained. We assure you that we did it for the convenience of the viewers who downloaded the video. And wait a minute! We used AAC instead of FLAC! For those who liked the FLAC format, we’re sorry and we’ll give you permission to beat our encoder when you see him. =3

Anyway, enjoy this music video guys! As always, like the previous videos, there are no new scenes on this one. Disappointing, I know but at least the song is very catchy.

Tsundere, the True Moe~

The Tsundere are the true moe! These lovely ladies are not like the other stereotypes who murder you after they’re bored of you (more or less). They are not defenseless and easily cry over something so insignificant. And certainly they are not the types who, in the end never changes and be the same person throughout the course of the series.

The Tsundere are a far different breed. They are capable of loving the character but shyly or never show their feelings until that very crucial moment. The Tsundere are not easily be fooled by guys who only after for pleasure. Playing hard to get is their weapon. They will tease, evade, and even dislike the guy. Doing this will allow the Tsundere to see how long the guy keeps up his so-called love or break down and reveal his true intentions.

Change is the biggest factor of the tsundere. They slowly change throughout the series making them an easy favorite for the fans. From an arrogant girl to a loving lady, truly, the tsundere is the true moe.
