Now that I’ve got your attention, listen up! We remade the batch torrent and this time, the videos will display in the correct aspect ratio without you manually setting it. I think I fixed it. I tested it VMR7, Haali Renderer, etc. and they all turned out OK.

We’re really sorry for the inconvinience and I hope we won’t repeat the same mistake again.

About the Candy Boy DVD batch

I know, I screwed up the new versions. My mind is all over the place right now so I can’t go into the technical details. The downloaders of the Candy Boy DVD batch torrent may experience video playback in the incorrect aspect ratio. I, SHiN made sure the videos are playing correctly before we release. My setup is CoreAVC with CCCP and the videos are displaying correct aspect ratio but when I enable AVC decoding on CCCP, the aspect ratio… to put in simply, just screwed up.

Another strange thing is I tested the videos on my other machines, one is a Pentium M laptop and one Dual Core PC with CCCP only and the videos are playing with the correct ratio. I believe this can be fixed without you re-downloading the episodes or manually fix it yourself.

UPDATE:

I got it fixed. To CCCP users, I suggest you install the latest pack HERE. If you already have the latest version and still the aspect ratio is not displaying correctly, uninstall CCCP and remove any reference of CCCP in your computer and reinstall CCCP. That shoud fix it. THERE! If this doesn’t fix the problem, leave a comment and I will try to fix it.

Late as usual but hey, it’s better to be late than never. After working really hard (nah, one of us is simply lazy), we’re almost close at finishing Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens. Two more episodes left so that means we’ll be finished around 3 weeks. =P With our pace, we’re going to be a month faster than our first 13-episode project, Myself; Yourself of which the last episode was released on April 27, 2008 at 05:04 GMT.

Kannagi 11 – Yet, uncertain – Things are getting serious now. No more fun and games; it’s just pure angst and drama! Tears will fall, friendship will be broken, love turns to hate, hate turns to fear… Ah… The Sky is falling! Yes, this is indeed the most powerful episode of Kannagi and we don’t want you to miss it even for a second!

Oh yeah, aside from Candy Boy, we will be putting Shoujo Sect ~Innocent Lovers~ 3rd Period on hold. We’re already distracted with a lot of stuff and we don’t want to worsen our already tight schedule (plus me, SHiN being lazy). In case someone asks, we don’t know when Candy Boy 6 be available, as far as we know, the official site haven’t announced a broadcast date yet. And as for SS3, we’ll release it around next month but no guarantee, okay? I hope you understand.

Wish… Cannot be fulfilled

As I turn on my computer, she is already in my mind and very eager to check for new pictures. Right now, I am sitting here in front of my computer, gazing at her all the time. I opened my folder and slowly scan the many images of her. Various fanart, screenshots… I always thought I have everything related to her. I always gaze upon her beauty, laugh at her wits and sigh at her cute antics. My spirit is always lifted every time I look at her. My mind is calm as I listen to her voice in MP3, AAC, LPCM or FLAC…

And now, as I about to shut down my computer, I then realized, or rather, I am reminded that… She’s not real and she only exists in my computer… Why, oh why she’s not real…? As I lay on my bed, I’m always praying, that if God willing, I will be able to see her… Please, please… Let me find her…

Myself; Yourself Batch Torrent OUT!!!

We wanted to use the hacksaw bow picture but this one is better.

Here it is, Batch torrent for SHiN-gx’s first ever 13 episode project, Myself; Yourself! This show reminded us how hard it is to sub an anime series for the first time. Back then, we have limited staff, resources and knowledge (mostly on distro, encoding, script timing, etc.). Since we were not really known, looking for support is difficult. I, SHiN, can still recall I encoded the episodes with no filters, no idea what the hell is AVC and learned a thing or two on how to configure XviD.

This is our first release and expect a few errors here, a few errors there, and other stuff. We’re not saying our subs  really suck, you can still notice our style is in there and… Oh yeah, long before we enforced a no-honorific policy, our version of Myself; Yourself has honorifics like any other current fansubs.
