Hanasaku Iroha Trailer OUT!!!

March 19, 2011

What the… I didn’t know Yomi Takanashi from BRS is in this show!

And our second project this April is Hanasaku Iroha and this time we’re teaming up with MSPN-SUBS! They’re  a relatively new group with some fire in them. They’ll be in charge of the translation, timing, and other stuff. Oh, right, MSPN stands for Multiple Sclerosis Patient Ne– Uh, whoops!

Anyway, Hanasaku Iroha centers around 16-year-old Ohana Matsumae who moves from Tokyo to out in the country to live with her grandmother at an old hot spring inn named Kissuisō. Ohana begins working at the inn and makes friends with the other employees. – ANN

Hanasaku Iroha translates as ABCs of Blooming Flowers or Fundamentals of Growing Up. If you want the literal translation, it means How to Bloom a Flower.

Before we go to the links…

RECRUITING TLC’er – We’re all fine and dandy but additional help is needed. We’re looking for a TLC’er and help our translator with the script. We need someone who is fluent in Japanese and English, with fansubbing experience and have at least translated 2 shows. Interested? Contact SHiN @ shin.gx.fansubs@gmail.com or drop by our IRC channel!

  1. I went through half the trailer going “omg, why am I not hearing Kotobuki Minako?!” before remembering that it was Hanasaku Iroha and not A Channel XD

  2. I didn’t know we were doing this too, who are the staff assigned?

  3. That’s gonna be simulcasted by CR. Are you still gonna continue this?

  4. We shall be undeterred!

  5. Do you use TS?

  6. @Shika:

TS? Transport Streams? For the trailer, we used the webrip version. For the rest of the series though, we’re gonna use TS files as our source for encoding.
