I can’t speak for Shin-GX’s staff, but commentary tracks (and disc extra interviews, etc.) are generally a bitch to TL because real native-speaker Japanese is a lot faster and more complicated than anime dialogue. Not to mention there’s more mumbling and talking over other people, and you can’t work from the context/visuals like you can with anime dialogue.
