Project Updates 7/15/09

We’re making new versions of Aoi Hana and Juuden-chan episode 1 and their deadlines are not yet decided. We’re revamping the OP and ED kara and assigning a better, readable font for Aoi Hana. Same thing to Juuden-chan episode 1. Since we now have a dedicated TLC, the script of episode 1 will be improved and we’ll use the lyrics styles from episode 2 into episode 1.

Juuden-chan 3 is still in progress. TLC is done, script timing is already under way. After that, it’ll be forwarded to 5 editors to fix and reword the script; making it sound natural as possible. Still looking for a decent raw for episode 3. Yes, it’s still 4:3. Complaining about the poor quality video? Want widescreen? Wait for the DVDs. Our encoder will work right away as soon as the good raw is available. After that, it’ll go to our Quality Checker and then release. ETA? Hopefully before the weekend starts. Other things to know about is our scripts for Juuden-chan is 100% fan translated and not ripped from crunchyroll in any way.

Aoi Hana 2 is also under way. It passed TLC and passed the first out of four editing passes. Still looking for a decent raw and will encode right away as soon as we pick the best raw out of the bunch. ETA? Hopefully before we release Juuden-chan 3.

Candy Boy EX02 and DVD versions of episodes 5-6 are on hold. We already have the VOBs of each episode and will encode them when the encoder is free. Episodes 5-6 will be TLC’d and re-edited soon. ETA? We can’t give you an estimate deadline for the moment.

Kannagi 11-13 + episode previews DVD are coming soon. We will release episodes 11-12 DVD within 24 hours. ETA on episode 13 and the episode previews is yet to be decided.

I will answer some of the questions posted before here. Candy Boy 7 DVD does not have audio desync issues. Audio is perfectly synced with the video. It’s probably your codec pack that’s causing the audio problem so we suggest re-checking your codecs and update them if possible. There is no widescreen version of Juuden-chan. Even if there are widescreen versions, chances are they will be censored. We’re sticking with 640×480 resolution instead of 960×720 because it’s an upscale. We don’t want to upscale our Plug and Alesta. We might do DVD versions of Juuden-chan and Aoi Hana.
