Yuru Yuri S2 Episode 03 is OUT!!!

July 20, 2012

Right on schedule! And yes, we agree with the girls — episode 03 is pretty darn delicious!

Episode 03 is dedicated for the two supporting characters — Sakurako and Himawari. They barely had any significant screen time back in season 1 and this episode fixes all that! Episode 03 has everything from comedy, drama, romance, tragedy, to uh… more cute girls doing cute… things…

On to the episode!

  1. Aside from a wonderful tsundere valentine, “She who shan’t be named” graces us with her omnipotent presence. The day she speaks is the day the world will split in two and all yuri fans will gawk in absolutely glorious horror.
Oh, it was also a nice change of pace with Kyouko and Yui not hogging the spotlight. Yes, TOSHINO KYOUKO and Ayano for life and all that but give the other ladies a chance to shine.

  2. Ohhh… SakuHima is good. Will watch this ep with your subs ’cause I was late watching it. Has been some while since I watched something from you people.

  3. ALL RIGHT!

  4. this is my first time watching your version, if it’s good I shall come back!

  5. Thanks! 😀

  6. Could someone explain me Akari’s pun? If I’m right I heard “Kore wa darenda? Oranda!”. I didn’t really get the translation as well, and because it’s about my home country I would like to know more about it.

  7. I made a play on words between “who” and “Holland”… I wasn’t sure how to localize the pun any further… 😦

  8. But do you know how it is literally translated? Sometimes I understand it a bit better then.

  9. Sing it with me you Lazy Lilies! Yu yu yu yuru yuri YES!
Oh the sweet, sweet, yuri! Love this episode. Way too funny! And the ending, what an ending!

  10. @ Ovindel:

Well, considering that it’s not supposed to be a very good pun, I don’t think it meant much. She was saying “Kore wa darenda? Oranda!” So she was actually saying “Kore wa dare? Oranda!” She fused “dare” (“who”) and “Oranda” (“Holland”). So yea… Pretty lame pun. XD

  11. @Uichan
    “Pretty lame pun.”
    Yeah it is. 😉
